Blue Sun Mycology Group seeks to provide multiple, world wide patented, new species of psychoactive fungi that have far exceeded potential in a medicinal, therapeutic, or utility context. As a biotech breeding company, it is our goal to design naturally stronger species of psychoactive fungi that far exceeds anything currently found in nature. Using our patented breeding methods, we bioengineer and custom design new novel species of fungi that have the potential to change the entire industry. Our breeding methods can also be utilized to bioengineer any type of fungi species that offers any beneficial utility use. Blue Sun Mycology group strives to grow relationships with clients who are currently doing research with tryptamine molecules or who are currently cultivating psilocybin in countries where psilocybin is legal. Company Story

Blue Sun Mycology Group LLC is a company cultivated in the classic entrepreneurial tradition. Jerred Tudela, its original founder, is a lifelong Deadhead and former professional cannabis breeder from the days before recreational marijuana who was born right into the Oregon Merry Prankster culture of the 1980’s. Growing up in the Willamette Valley surrounded by cow pastures, he has been able to identify Psilocybe semilanceata fruit bodies since he was only 9 years old. After COVID-19 hit in 2020, Jerred found himself bored and not able to socialize with his friends anymore. After being isolated for so long that Winter he had decided to pick up a hobby that he had given up 7 years ago, cultivating Psilocybe cubensis. Due to his prior profession as a cannabis breeder, Jerred was always curious about breeding Psilocybe cubensis hybrids and always had an idea how it was done. In March 2021, he finally attempted his first hybrid having no real previous knowledge on breeding fungi. And he found that his method had worked, so he repeated the method and created another strain, and another.

Jerred then devised the plan to patent his newly developed methods and all the novel species developed by them and create a business to either sell or license those patents. Less than 24 hours after posting on his Facebook page about seeking an investor, Jerred was partnered with John Mink (through a mutual friend), to finance the acquisition of the patents for the breeding methods and the first few novel species in multiple countries around the world. Jerred and John also purchased Lab equipment capable of doing in-house psilocybin potency testing and DNA barcoding of the company's invented novel species and so Jerred can fully utilize his knowledge of High Pressure Liquid Chromatography, Genomics, Genomic Breeding and Biotech. By the end of Fall 2021, Blue Sun Mycology Group will be recognized as THE leader in the Organic Psilocybin Medicine industry.
