Blue Sun Mycology Group has partnered with founder Jerred Tudela's "Yellow Sky Biology Group", a Biotech breeding company in the plant and cannabis sector to utilize inventor Jerred Tudela's patented methods to create somatic hybrids and infuse molecules between plant and fungi. The joint venture will be named, "Scarlet Begonias Biotech". The 1st project is to isolate the proteins and enzymes responsible for creating the genes in fungi that allow spores and mycelium to live in the vacuum of space. Then to pass that gene into plants so humans will be able to grow crops outside of space stations.

Blue Sun Mycology Group will be launching it's sister company, Vision Spores, by Winter 2021. Vision Spores is involved in community charities such as, "Furthur Down The Road Foundation" and the Grateful Dead's "REX Foundation".
